If you are a small company that can handle hosting your own instance, and you don't require any support, the community plan is for you. You can start with a free trial, then download your database to your local systems.
If you don't want to deal with operating an application yourself, a hosted plan might be the best choice.
Our hosted plans are based on Amazon Web Services hosted in US-East-1 in North Virginia. We use Elastic Container Services clusters hosted across two availability zones, backed by a dedicated EC2 auto-scaling group to ensure compute capacity.
Relational databases are RDS managed PostgreSQL Multi-AZ instances, and message queue servers are Amazon MQ managed ActiveMQ instances in active/standby mode. Each of these configurations provides redundancy across two availability zones with automatic failover.
If you want to host the application yourself, we offer access to the same container registries used in our hosted plans. The difference between this and the community plan is that we're here to help you set everything up, and you're contributing back towards development.
